Maria Luisa

November 28, 2016

How cool was Maria Luisa back in the days? She donated her park to the people! Most of the grounds were formerly the San Telmo' Palace gardens but they were donated to the city of Seville in 1893 by the Infanta Luisa Fernanda, Duchess of Montpensier to use as a public park.

I can't even express how gorgeous and magical is this garden. I could be here for several hours. Parque de María Luisa, a 'Moorish paradisical style' with a halfa mile of tiled fountains, pavilions, walls, ponds, benches, and exedras, Lush palms, orange trees, Mediterranean pines, and stylised flower beds with bowers hidden by vines.

Today’s pictures are some of my favourites, I felt just like a princess, the only thing that is missing is a pair of beautiful shoes! And tiara? Maybe too much?
